Welcome to my page for the Hermitage. This was Andrew Jackson's home through his death in 1845. Then his son lived here. It was taken over as a monument in the late 1800's and has been on display since. The day I was here the weather was overcast with thunderstorms predicted. Between the weather and the disrepair of the house I did not make very many pictures. There are plans to repair/restore the house beginning this year so maybe in a year or two we will see it in it's glory.
